The Magnum Cooler
DescriptionBack to List
The Magnum Cooler $38,000
This is the best Art Deco Wine Cooler that was never made. Better than anything that Georg Jensen, Puiforcat or any of the great Art Deco design houses ever produced.

This is a massive piece of silver weighing over 230 ozs. Due to its sheer size, it had to be made out of the higher grade Britannia Silver [958 standard] rather than Sterling Silver [925]. No compromise on the quality or the gauge of silver here. [Remember that is a Magnum of Champagne in the photograph—not a standard bottle].

The lid is detachable, as is the central column inside. Easy to use and easy to clean. Actually a late 18th Century system. Lift of the lid, pour in the ice and replace the lid. Just reverse the process to empty and clean.

Silver is a most efficient conductor of temperature and the magnum will cool and stay chilled perfectly.

The Magnum Cooler will also look fabulous with a tall flower arrangement—or just empty as a stand alone sculptural object. These would look superb on a sideboard as a pair.

Note: A smaller version can be made to order to fit standard wine bottles.
