Cleaning
Your Inglefield clasp is made from sterling silver and has been protected with an anti tarnish product. An occasional, gentle rub with a soft, clean cloth will bring it back to its original shine. We do not recommend using silver cleaning materialsÑthey will dirty the rope with black marks. Of course, if you are lucky enough to own an 18 carat gold clasp, then your cleaning requirements are minimal as virtually no tarnish will occur.
The Rope
Each Inglefield bracelet or necklace is made from genuine marine rope as used on boats of all sizes today. It is strong, durable and, if necessary, can always be cleaned with warm water and a little dish washing liquid and then rinsed. Soak overnight if you need to-neither the silver nor the rope will come to any harm.
